HeXen Magazine Photo Submission Policy & Disclaimer
By submitting photographs to HeXen Magazine, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Photo Ownership & Authorization
All photographs submitted for consideration must be owned by the person submitting them or the submitter must have full legal authorization and permission from the copyright owner to submit the photographs for publication.
Photographs may not contain the names, logos, trademarks, branding, artwork, or other identifying materials belonging to another business, organization, individual, or entity unless the submitter has obtained the appropriate authorization or permission from that party.
If a photograph contains identifiable individuals, businesses, locations, artwork, logos, trademarks, or other third-party property where authorization may be required, it is the responsibility of the person submitting the photograph to obtain and maintain the necessary permissions or releases.
Release Forms
HeXen Magazine and/or Dark Shade Media LLC may require a signed release form prior to using any submitted photograph. Release forms will be provided when necessary and must be completed and returned before the photograph can be published.
Submitting a photograph does not guarantee publication. HeXen Magazine reserves the right to accept, reject, or request additional documentation for any submitted photograph.
Cover & Editorial Photography
All official HeXen Magazine cover photographs and photographs specifically commissioned for magazine articles or editorial features will be photographed by Dark Shade Media LLC, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Photographs taken by Dark Shade Media LLC for HeXen Magazine are the property of Dark Shade Media LLC and may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, altered, sold, or used for other purposes without written permission from Dark Shade Media LLC.
Responsibility of the Submitter
By submitting a photograph, you represent that:
You own the photograph or have the legal authority to submit it.
You have obtained any necessary permissions, licenses, or releases.
The photograph does not knowingly infringe upon another person's or entity's copyright, trademark, intellectual property, or other rights.
Any required documentation can be provided upon request.
